Pablo Ruiz Picasso (October 25, 1881 in Málaga, Spain – April 8, 1973) was a Spanish painter and sculptor. He is considered one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. As some people say, Picasso could draw before he could walk. And there’s a very interesting fact. Young Picasso showed a passion and a skill for drawing from an early age; according to his mother, his first words were “piz, piz”, a shortening of lápiz, the Spanish word for ‘pencil’.
