The Busiest Time Of Year

One of the biggest shopping days of the year that almost everyone looks forward to is Black Friday. This is the day after Thanksgiving, and it’s a time when stores offer deep discounts for customers who are looking to complete or begin their Christmas shopping. Walmart is usually among the top stores where shoppers spend their day. The company has started offering deals on Thursday evening to give shoppers more time to get discounts. However, the store is among the most dangerous places to shop on this day because of the large crowds, low prices, limited larger items, and narrow aisles in most stores. Over 137 million people took part in Black Friday shopping in 2013, which is more than the population of Japan. Some people think that Black Friday is the busiest shopping day of the year. While it is quite frantic, the Saturday before Christmas is regarded as the busiest time. About 21 percent of people who shop for Christmas haven’t missed the sales offered on Black Friday. The popular shopping day didn’t really get a lot of national exposure until the 1990s. Now, malls and even some of the smaller individually owned stores get involved with offering discounts so that shoppers get the items they want without spending a lot of money.
